Lola was born in Miami, Florida.

She is currently based in Washington, DC, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Georgetown University.

She has worked on commissioned projects for her high school’s brand and store, offices, interior designers, and individual clients. Her work has also been featured in various publications.

Though her projects may not always share tangible connections, her Cuban culture and Miami surroundings remain a constant influence. She draws inspiration from high fashion, and her work explores themes of nature, womanhood, love, religion, and aesthetics.

The subject matter of each body of work guides her choice of materials and form, leading her to experiment across a wide range of media, including denim-based mixed media, painting, digital work, ink drawing, sculpture, and murals.

Lola’s creativity is driven by a desire to bring beauty into everyday life.
